Sales/New Business Development Manager

Deepnet Security is looking for highly motivated self starting and experienced IT Sales Manager who wants to make a significant contribution to a fast growing start-up who already possess a track record of successes. We are emerging as a leading provider of strong authentication solutions for ecommerce, enterprise and financial markets in the UK. This is a fast-growing sector due to the dramatic increase in recent online scams, predominantly phishing and identity theft.

We are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial Sales Manager to take full control of sales and business development and lead the company towards a prosperous future. Your motivation and energy is an important attribute required to be successful in this role and the successful candidate will be compensated prosperously!

Initially, this role will be focusing on tele-prospecting new businesses and approaching IT decision makers as well as account management from existing accounts. You will manage the whole sales cycle from lead generation to closure, but you will also generate substantial sales revenue from your existing network of contacts as well as from fresh leads. You will also be required to conduct in-depth analysis of the market and review/create business strategy that will ensure they are pursuing the most profitable business opportunities.

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • You will have extensive experience of generating your own leads, creating your own appointments and pitching via presentation at Senior Management level
  • A minimum of 3 years IT sales experience and a proven track record of success are essential
  • We are looking for a highly-driven and enthusiastic person
  • IT Security knowledge is advantageous

This is an immediate requirement. The position is based in Islington, London and will require travel to the clients work locations. Basic salary between £40-50k, dependent on experience + commission, realistic OTE £80-100K, uncapped, in addition to future options.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A computer science degree or a similar IT related degree
