Deepnet Technologies among the top UK companies to join a recent DTI Global Watch Security Mission to the USA

London, March 30, 2006 – Deepnet Technologies, the leading UK provider of strong two-factor and two-way solutions for banks, financial institutions and ecommerce websites, was amongst the UK companies selected to join the DTI Global Watch Security Mission to the USA.

Yurong Lin, CEO represented Deepnet Technologies and was joined by participants including executives from the BBC, BT, QinetiQ, BeCrypt and Nexor. The mission was aimed to give the UK a sense of state-of-the-art and emerging solutions for the secure business use of the internet. Areas considered were voice and data, fixed and mobile networks, desktop and handheld devices in both the public and private sectors. ‘Unified strong two-factor authentication solutions are becoming increasingly important as internet scams rise, and Deepnet Technologies are honoured to have been chosen as one of the UK’s technology providers represented at this Security Mission.’

The Mission team visited prominent US companies and organisations including Sun Microsystems, Microsoft, Boeing, Symantec and the FBI. ‘The mission was valuable and proves that Deepnet’s suite of Authentication Solutions is at the forefront of innovation and state-of-the art technologies both in the UK and the US’, Mr Lin stated.

The findings of the mission will be reported at a seminar titled ‘Information Security: a Mission to the USA’ on April 25, 2006 at the Hilton London Olympia. This free seminar will report back the findings of a DTI Global Watch Mission, which visited the USA in January 2006. Along with presentations from the mission participants, a full written report of the findings will be available on the day, including a contribution from Yurong Lin on the chapters focusing on two-factor authentications solutions.

Deepnet Technologies aims to provide banks, financial institutions and ecommerce websites with the most reliable, strong, two-way and two-factor authentication available that is also easy to deploy, simple to use and cost-effective.
